Like my previous 2013 senior portrait session in Raleigh, the weather required us to reschedule Aby’s senior portrait session. No matter though, we had a wonderful time taking photos in fields, flowers and trees around Cary and Raleigh. Aby’s senior portrait session was a lot of fun and she had some creative and fun ideas for her photos. Great job Aby!

I was lucky enough to work with Erika on two different portrait sessions. She is in college now, but told me she actually never got around to having senior portraits done, so these photos will kind of count as her high school senior portrait photographs. She is also, starting her career as a model so in addition to the photos kind of counting as senior portraits we were hoping to come away with photos to expand her portfolio. I’ve worked with my fair share of models and Erika was as professional and easy to work with as they come. Not to mention very considerate and a wonderful communicator. It was a pleasure being her portrait photographer and am looking forward to seeing her career as a model reach great heights!

Ben opted for a senior portrait session part in studio and part on location, both of which turned out awesome. Once again, I was lucky to photograph a high school senior guy that is comfortable and confident infront of the camera. Great job Ben!

Garrett continued the streak of high school senior guys that do much better infront of the camera than I do. He is a very easy going, which made him look very natural in his senior portraits. Also, I got to learn a little more about one of the top places on my list I wanna go to, the Galapagos Islands where their family had the chance to visit this summer (yes, I’m super jealous)!

Averett was another senior guy that seemed to be very comfortable infront of the camera. Just minutes into the session he was changing up smiles with serious with looking at me and looking away almost as if he could read my mind or just could anticipate what I wanted him to do during his senior portrait session.

I had a great time with Zac at his senior portrait session in Raleigh. He needed just a few minutes and he naturally started to fall into poses and was great at giving me a variety of looks for his senior portraits. T-Bo’s senior portrait session in Raleigh was awesome. After just a few minutes into the senior portrait session, he we was already comfortable and seemed to almost predict what I wanted him to do…. Which really helped to come away with great senior portraits! I always admire high school seniors that are very natural by themselves infront of the camera, because I know I sure wasn’t when I was a high school senior in Cary! Great job T-Bo!
