We had a lot of fun during Carrie’s senior portrait session in Raleigh. She was really easy going which lead to comfortable and confident senior portraits. We also had nice weather and the location picked out for senior session was not crowded at all which always is a plus! Carrie also had some creative ideas and a good idea of what she wanted for her portraits, something not all seniors are prepared for.

For Matthew’s senior portrait session, we actually had a split session due to a yearbook deadline and an injury he experienced playing baseball. For the first session, we met at my studio and had a great time even though we had to try to hide one of his arms because of the injury. For the second session, we met at a park a few months later, and those images turned out great too, especially since all of the leaves were starting to change! Not to mention, everyone appreciated having the senior portrait session when the weather was a little cooler! Check out the images from his senior portrait session below!

After only a few minutes of shooting, she was the perfect model, and we even ended up staying longer than originally planned because we were all having so much fun with her senior portraits! For Chris’s senior portrait session, he wanted to show his love for golf so he originally decided to have his senior portrait session at a golf course. When arriving at the golf course, it was a little crowded so we made a last minute decision to have the senior portrait session in Downtown Raleigh. For senior portrait sessions, I usually suggest that seniors bring along mom or another close family member to help with outfits and to hold the iPad to instantly see the photos I’m taking…. But because his mom was traveling internationally, he decided to rock his senior portrait session on his own, and he did a great job! Instead of having two separate senior portrait sessions, Maggie and Katie chose to share the senior portrait experience as sisters at a beautiful park in Raleigh.
